Sixteen Floors Up, The Boise Post Opens on Grove Street

The Boise Post, a new rooftop restaurant on the 16th floor of the Element and AC Hotel tower at 1005 W. , is now open with sweeping views of the city and foothills.

BOISE, ID—The highest table in town is now taking reservations, or at least walk-ins with a good sense of altitude. The Boise Post has opened on the 16th floor of the Element and AC Hotel tower at 1005 W. , making it the loftiest dining room in Boise’s largest hotel and, by most measures, the city itself.

Floor-to-ceiling windows frame views of downtown and the foothills, and an outdoor patio extends the experience for guests willing to brave the Boise weather. The menu runs wide: small plates, large plates, bar bites, desserts, a café and coffee program, and a kids menu, covering enough ground that a table of four with wildly different appetites should manage just fine.

For a city that has spent years watching its skyline grow, it’s only fitting that a restaurant finally decided to sit on top of it.
