Chef Asier’s steak-forward Sagardotegi menu is running this month only at the Basque Block restaurant—but you have to ask for it.
BOISE, ID—There’s a special menu at Lekuona right now, and the only way to get it is to say the magic word. Chef Asier has put together a limited Sagardotegi menu for the month, built around a substantial steak as its centerpiece. It won’t appear on the regular menu board—just ask your server when you sit down. Lekuona is located on the Basque Block in downtown Boise. Sagardotegi, for the curious, refers to the Basque cider-house dining tradition: seasonal, communal, and meat-forward. Knowing that probably makes the ask a little easier.
