Hidden Springs Has a 1.8-Mile Wildflower Loop—and a Waterfall Nobody Can Quite Find

Hidden Springs Has a 1.8-Mile Wildflower Loop—and a Waterfall Nobody Can Quite Find

The Currant Creek Trail in Hidden Springs is an easy sunset-friendly loop with spring wildflowers and a seasonal waterfall that may or may not show up.

82-mile easy loop currently putting on a show with wildflowers and golden-hour views worth the drive. The trail connects to several others in the area, which makes it easy to extend a walk if the mood strikes.

It also links to what locals call a seasonal waterfall—one that appears only after a heavy spring and, true to its elusive reputation, was absent on a recent visit by hiker @leahhikes, who plans to go back looking for it. For anyone wanting a low-effort weeknight hike before dark, this one fits the bill.

The waterfall, apparently, is optional.
